Ten new benches in Costuleni, requested by the village's own seniors, through a German-funded project
Ten benches have been installed in the village of Costuleni — rest spots for all ages. The need was flagged by the local elderly mutual-support group, and the benches came through a partnership between the natives' association, Costuleni City Hall and HelpAge Moldova, under a project funded by the German government. A small gesture, in a district where nearly a quarter of residents are over 60.
